This afternoon, we travel to Dorchester Town to visit the Avenue Stadium as Dan Brownlie announces his squad to take on the Magpies.
Squad News
Jonny Efedge makes a return to the matchday squad, ready to face his former club. We’re also delighted to see Sam Deadfield back in action after missing our midweek draw against Marlow due to a family bereavement. Our thoughts remain with Sam and his loved ones, some of whom may be joining us at the ground today.
Scott Armsworth has been recalled from his loan spell at Uxbridge, providing a timely boost to our defensive ranks. With Billy Upton and Curtis Angell both sidelined through injury, Scott’s presence will strengthen our backline. George Reid also misses out through minor injury after suffering a small set back in training earlier this week.
Team Changes
Dan Brownlie has made four changes to the starting XI, reflecting the need to manage the squad during a demanding fixture schedule. With two games in just 48 hours, the manager explained:
“We’d be stupid not to shuffle the pack today. The tight turnaround demands it. In doing so, it offers some an opportunity and I’m excited to watch them take it. Dorchester are a different beast to Marlow and we’ll need to ask different questions of them and also make sure we have the answers to there’s.”
Come down and support the boys as they take on Dorchester Town in what promises to be an exciting match!
