We can confirm the departure of left-back and midfielder, Massimo Giamattei.
Mass joined the club in December 2023 to strengthen our defensive lineup and quickly became a popular figure both on and off the pitch.
Reflecting on his time with the club, Massimo said:
“Just want to say a massive thank you to the boys, the staff, and the fans for welcoming me since November. It’s been an absolute pleasure, and I wish you all the best in the future. See you all soon.”
Manager Dan Brownlie also shared his thoughts:
“It’s never easy losing players, especially ones I and the team are so fond of, but I fully understand his decision. Mass came in during a tough period and played a key role in stabilizing the squad. He was outstanding at left-back, and his performance in the central midfield during our draw against Totton was crucial. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with him.”
Mass will be joining another Southern League team, but out of respect for their official announcement, we won’t disclose further details at this time.
