We are delighted to announce that Lee Dedman has been appointed Manager of Basingstoke Town FC Women.
Dedman is the current Basingstoke Town FC U18 Girls Manager and has been largely involved with integrating his side in to the Women’s team already this season.
Commenting on his appointment, Lee said:
“I’m extremely proud to have been given this opportunity to help sustain and grow Basingstoke Town Women and the female player pathway.”
“We know the challenges that lie ahead but with hard work and dedication, our aim is to give our town two senior football teams to be proud of”.
Basingstoke Town FC Director of Football Paul Strudley added “Throughout the interview process Lee has displayed an incredible enthusiasm and appetite for fostering a culture of growth, teamwork and achievement and a commitment to creating a pathway for the club’s girls teams.”
“Through his current role with the U18s, Lee is uniquely placed to be able to create and establish relationships and to unite the ladies/girls section under one umbrella. We look forward to supporting Lee in his new role!”
