Curtis Angell has made the decision to return to his roots by re-joining his local side, Hungerford Town FC.
The left-back joined us in February 2024 from Thatcham Town where he made a memorable debut in an away win against Poole Town – coincidentally, the same opponents we face this weekend. While this decision wasn’t an easy one, it reflects Curtis’s commitment to balancing his personal priorities.
Manager Dan Brownlie shared his thoughts:
“We’ve loved working with Curtis. His debut was arguably one of the best I’ve seen – he was inch-perfect that day. Curtis quickly became a popular figure both on and off the pitch, and there’s no doubt we’re disappointed to lose him.”
“That said, his decision has been well thought out and is rooted in what’s best for his family right now. He leaves on the very best terms with us all.”
