We’re really proud to announce that we’ve strengthened our medical team following the acquisition of talented Sports Therapist, Amy Cogdon.
Amy, who graduated from Buckinghamshire New University this summer, also works at Thorpes Physiotherapy clinic in Sandhurst.
Her previous work has included travelling to Athens for the preliminary round of the UEFA Champions league with the English futsal champions Bloomsbury. Amy has already showcased a deep knowledge of the prevention of injuries and rehabilitation; but not only this, Amy also plays for Ascot United, so has a great understanding of players needs.
Head of Medical, Seanagh McCarthy, has previously worked with Amy at Bracknell Town having onboarded her as a student. Under her stewardship and Amy’s continued dedication to her role, Amy has become a very gifted therapist and very well respected within the communities in which she has worked. “Having worked with her previously when she was a student I know what a valuable asset she will be to the club – both first team and academy.” Noted Seanagh, “She’s highly intelligent and driven – which is exactly what’s needed at the moment to help us give the best care possible to our injured players and get them back playing.”
We are very proud to be welcome Amy to our club.
