It’s the middle of the working week, so we thought we’d give you a little update on all things Basingstoke Town FC.
Last weekend the Basingstoke Town women’s side continued the clubs fine work in the community helping the Basingstoke Food Bank at Festival Place.
For more information on how YOU can get involved visit https://basingstoke.foodbank.org.uk/give-help/
Tonight’s scheduled U18 game with neighbours Hartley Wintney’s U18 has been postponed due to a COVID related issue inside the Hartley camp. A new date is set to be arranged for the new year.
We also await the updated guideline from the Southern League following the announcements from any potential tier changes by the Government.
Academy Open Day
Happening This Friday! To secure your spot on our BTFC Academy Open Day simply email Academy Manager Aaron Nicholson using email@example.com. Come and see what the Academy is all about and join in a training session at Winklebury – 4pm-5.30pm.
First Team Training
The first team return to training for the first time since our own COVID issue. The boys are looking forward to getting back on to the pitch and being amongst the group again.
Depending on the outcome of the news from the Southern League will dictate Saturday’s proceedings. It’s likely that the first team will take part in some form of training session or an in-house friendly if the league choose to continue with the current pause.
Some new items have been added to the club shop – so please do take a visit and order yours in time for Christmas – www.shop.btfc.co.uk
