New Partnership With Pulse

Following positive conversations and extensive planning over the past few months – we are pleased to announce that we have created a partnership with the Pulse Premier Football and Education College Programme to help deliver our academy programme. They will work alongside our existing education provider SCL commencing in September 2021.

Established in 2011, by former Basingstoke Town player Paul Harkness, Pulse have been delivering coaching and player pathways into football and sport all around the world. As an independent organisation, Pulse focus on the learner and their career which is important for young people and their personal development.

Paul Harkness from Pulse commented ‘We are excited about working with Basingstoke Town FC and the local community in delivering a high-quality programme for the learners. We will be able to support the club with producing more players capable of playing in the first team as well which is only a good thing for the club and the players.’

Academy Manager Aaron Nicholson commented “We’re really looking forward to the partnership. We’re passionate about people here at Basingstoke and we take real pride in ensuring we create pathways bespoke to the interests, enjoyment, and attributes of each student. This partnership will further enhance our ability to go the extra mile for our students. It’s a really exciting time to be part of our growing academy.”

If you’re a young person (16-19) and you’re looking for a pathway into University, Scholarship opportunities or future employment within sport –  then make sure you speak to us at Basingstoke Town.
