Save the Camrose for The Community

It is no surprise that Basron /Rafi Razzak have made a 11th Hour appeal against the Camrose planning refusals in order to protect the value of their asset. The Community Club along with other objectors will receive shortly details of that appeal.

BTCFC will be joining the Council as an interested party in opposing the appeal. We await to hear whether the planning inspector will determine the appeal on paper documentation or at a public inquiry.  Either way the Community Club will be working with planning professionals to put forward the strongest possible case.

Chairman Kevin White said ‘You’d think with the recent coverage, the overwhelming public support and the ongoing campaign that this option would have been taken off the table, but in truth it was expected, just like Basron’s appealing of the councils decision to list our old home as an Asset of Community Value.  It’s now down to the planning inspectorate. As far as we are concerned, they have no grounds for appeal – the original council decision was unequivocally correct.’

If you’re able to donate to our Save the Camrose for the Community campaign to help us move forward – please do.
