Basingstoke based Exertis, a leading distributor of technology products, has today confirmed its headline sponsorship of Basingstoke Town Community Football Club.
This year we celebrate our 125th year and the level of support Exertis has shown us has come at a great time. As part of the sponsorship, Exertis will have its logo placed proudly on the front of the first team’s home shirts.
Paul Bryan, Managing Director, Exertis UK&I, says, “I am delighted we can support Basingstoke Town FC. This is a great time to partner with the community club as fans are looking to support more locally since the pandemic, and of course to celebrate the club’s return to the town.”
Jack Miller, Chairman, Basingstoke Town Community Football Club, says, “We’re so pleased to have Exertis on board as our Main Club sponsors. We’re a community club so partnering with one of the largest technology distributors in the UK is a great opportunity for us.”
“It’s a significant step for our great club. This will be a welcome reminder to other businesses around the area about how our club and their support can be aligned for the benefit of the local community. We’ve made real strides in the past couple of years to immerse ourselves into the community wherever possible, we’ve still got a long way to go – but sponsorships and partnerships like this go a long way in helping us further our reach. “
Dan Brownlie, First team manager noted “I had the pleasure of meeting a number of the Exertis group at training. It’s one thing being a sponsor, and that in itself is really appreciated – but the enthusiasm they showed for the club and the potential surrounding this partnership is the more exciting element. It’s great that Basingstoke businesses are really starting to get behind us and long may it continue.”
