We can confirm that Adam Everiss has signed on Dual Registration for Ascot United FC. The left back who joined us some four years ago under then manager Martin Kuhl has been an ever-present fixture since his arrival, including a very memorable equaliser against Bournemouth Poppies in the FA Cup held at Reading City.
Manager Dan Brownlie said “I’ve worked with Adam for a long time now – it extends further than our time at Basingstoke by a further four years. He’s a top guy who I have a lot of time for off the pitch and on it, his value and quality is unquestioned. We’ve been unable to offer him the game time his quality deserves since the arrival of James Haworth and its with a heavy heart on both sides that Adam has decided to seek more regular football elsewhere. He’ll remain connected to the club and it may not be the last we see of him, but for at least the short to medium term future – his time will be spent at Ascot. I know how much he values this club, particularly this current group of players and he’d want to extend his thanks to our supporters for making his time so enjoyable and making him feel so welcome.”
From everyone at the club we’d like to thank Adam for his efforts and wish him the very best at Ascot.
