Public Meeting 25th April

Our Target: Community Run Club at Winklebury from the Summer

Help Make It Happen!

Attend the Public Meeting on Thursday 25 April 2019, 7.15pm at the Camrose Clubhouse.—The DREAM of Basingstoke Town being run by its supporters at the new Winklebury home is close to becoming a REALITY.Behind the scenes discussion has been taking place with the club owner and his representatives on such a move.

Our aim is to secure the necessary National FA approval to transfer to the Community Club the FA licence to play as Basingstoke Town at Winklebury for the 2019/20 season.

Terry Brown, Chairman of the Community Club said “This is fantastic news and will help us to build a club the community can be proud of. To make it happen there is much to be done to satisfy the tough National FA Rules in a short period of time. That’s why we are holding a public meeting.”

The meeting will cover the many questions, issues and actions needed.

And it give you an opportunity to secure a 2019/20 season ticket at an exclusive price and see the unveiling of our new kit.

The National FA rules for transferring the licence to play include:

the shareholders of BT LTD (Mr Razzak) and the creditors (principally Mr Razzak) being satisfied with the transfer; and the new entity (the Community Club) demonstrating the ability to fund the club for the longer of twelve months or the end of the new season.

To make it happen we urgently need more valued volunteers and greater funding!

Now is the time for all who care about the club to stand up and be counted to take full advantage of this opportunity.
