Match Preview: Willand Rovers FC

Tomorrow morning Basingstoke Town travel to Willand Rovers in an earlier than scheduled kick off [2pm] due to a floodlight failure.

Dan Brownlie will be without Reuben Collins who remains sidelined through injury.
Aaron Kuhl signed National League forms for Slough Town on Thursday evening. Jon Underwood and Dan Brownlie have been in regular conversation over the past few weeks…

“Jon and Neil [Baker] have been very professional in their approach – which we appreciate. Aaron will remain dual-registered with us and we’ll keep lines of communication open with Slough. There was a window of opportunity for him and it’s important that Aaron took it.”
Brownlie continued…
“It’s been a monumental effort by Aaron to get to where he is now following that injury. We may see Aaron back in a Basingstoke shirt somewhere across the season, but for now – we wish him all the very best and thank him for his efforts.”
Ryan Suckling is expected to make a return to the squad following his involvement with Aldershot Town’s midweek friendly.

“Ryan & Ricco will be both be in the matchday squad; Riccardo was ill during the week which is why he didn’t play against Farnborough. Reece Rusher will also be recalled to the squad after impressing midweek and at training on Thursday.”

“As our supporters will understand, there are no easy games in this league. However, our mentality doesn’t change for anyone – all the boys know their roles and the expectancy that comes with it.”
