BTFC Community Club Sign-Up & Renewal Membership & Notice of AGM

Dear All,
The purpose of this note is to:
Give notice of the AGM on Wednesday 27 November at the Apollo Hotel , 7pm for 7.30pm start

To encourage you to take up Community Club membership for 2019/20 – only members can vote /attend the AGM (see attached application form)if you are not already a member

Share with you a copy of the Nomination form for Board member election and the timetable for submitting nominations

Sign Up To be a Member – Only £10 a year (adult – £5 under 16)

Now that Basingstoke Town Community FC has taken over the running the football club from the private owner, it is vital that we have a large, committed membership that can properly represent our community and oversee the running of the club.

Being a member gives you an important say in how your club is run. It allows you to call for special meetings if necessary and attend the Annual General Meeting at which financial accounts are presented and at which the board to run the club is elected.

You can complete the attached membership form and return to the address on the form and include your remittance in the envelope (cheques made payable to Basingstoke Town Community Football Club )

OR return completed form and make bank transfer to Basingstoke Town Community Football Club Sort Code 23-05-80 Account No. 24568962 Ref Memb followed by first four letters of your surname. OR sign up at a home match.

Candidate Nominations for the Board (all 8 posts up for election)

Anyone seeking to be a Board Member must complete the attached nomination form, supported by two members and return as indicated by Wednesday 23 October. After the independent Election Management Group have reviewed the validity of nominations , the completed forms are circulated to members on Wednesday 6 November. The vote takes place at the AGM on Wednesday 27 November but where an individual member cannot attend properly completed ballot papers may be submitted up to the beginning of the meeting .
