Basingstoke are pleased to announce the signing of defender Terence Van Cooten on loan from Championship club Reading. Terence becomes the latest Royals player to make the temporary switch to Basingstoke and will be available for the clash with Chippenham Town later today. The 19 year old, who is capable of playing as a full back and in midfield, spent time on loan at Ryman Premier League side Billericay Town earlier in the season and was selected to represent Middlesex FA while with Staines last season. He will now join up with Basingstoke and add competition to the squad for the rest of the season.
